Cuando miras atrás y ves todo lo que has logrado en tu carrera, ¿cómo te sientes?
Siempre estoy mirando hacia adelante. Me siento muy feliz por las personas que he conocido y por la experiencia de hacer lo que amo. También por las lecciones que he aprendido en el camino.
En Gossip Girl, tu personaje tenía una vida bastante complicada. ¿Qué lecciones aprendiste de Lily van der Woodsen?
Que todos tenemos una vida complicada. Lo importante es cómo la navegamos. Hay que hacer siempre lo mejor posible y también saber pedir perdón cuando no estamos en nuestro mejor momento. Estamos en constante evolución, aprendiendo con más conciencia.
Has hablado abiertamente sobre tu experiencia en los tribunales y la batalla por la custodia de tus hijos. ¿Cómo ha moldeado eso tu visión sobre la maternidad y la familia?
Amo ser madre. Es lo más importante en mi vida. Es fundamental mantener el amor en el corazón.
Has trabajado en una gran variedad de proyectos, desde telenovelas hasta series de gran éxito. ¿Hay alguno que te haya impactado especialmente?
Los amé todos. Cada uno fue una experiencia única. Con el tiempo, podés ver cómo cambia tu perspectiva y cómo la experiencia de vida es en sí un regalo.
Sabemos que te apasiona el diseño de interiores. ¿Tienes un espacio en tu hogar que consideres tu santuario personal?
Me encanta crear un espacio de meditación para leer, escribir y meditar. Un lugar para estar en silencio y escuchar, para mirar hacia adentro. Me gusta tener esto en mi hogar, junto con la belleza, la naturaleza y la familia.
¿Qué papel juega la moda en tu vida personal y cómo ha influido en tu estilo a lo largo de los años?
La moda siempre ha sido algo que me amo. Comenzó con las revistas y luego, como actriz, me di cuenta de cómo me ayudaba a construir un personaje. Entonces, me interesó más cómo nos hace sentir. Pero más allá de eso, amo el estilo y la simplicidad. Me encantan los artesanos.
When you look back at everything you’ve accomplished in your career, how do you feel?
I’m always looking ahead. I feel truly grateful for the people I’ve met and for the experience of doing what I love. Also, for the lessons I’ve learned along the way.
In Gossip Girl, your character had quite a complicated life. What lessons did you take from Lily van der Woodsen?
We all have complicated lives. What matters is how we navigate them. You should always do your best and also know when to apologize when you’re not at your best. We are constantly evolving, learning with greater awareness.
You’ve spoken openly about your experience in court and the custody battle for your children. How has that shaped your perspective on motherhood and family?
I love being a mother. It is the most important thing in my life. Keeping love in your heart is essential.
You’ve worked on a wide range of projects, from soap operas to major TV series. Is there one that has impacted you the most?
I loved them all. Each one was a unique experience. Over time, you realize how your perspective changes and how life experience itself is a gift.
We know you’re passionate about interior design. Do you have a space in your home that you consider your personal sanctuary?
I love creating a meditation space to read, write, and reflect. A place to sit in silence and listen, to look inward. I like having that in my home, along with beauty, nature, and family.
What role does fashion play in your personal life, and how has it influenced your style over the years?
Fashion has always been something I love. It started with magazines, and then as an actress, I realized how it helped me build a character. That’s when I became more interested in how it makes us feel. But beyond that, I love style and simplicity. I admire artisans.
¿Cómo definirías tu estilo personal? ¿Es algo que descubriste con el tiempo o siempre tuviste una idea clara?
Sí, muy clásico. Simplemente confío en mí misma y en lo que me gusta, en las cosas que me hacen sentir en casa conmigo misma.
¿Qué proyectos (que puedas compartir) tienes en mente para el futuro, tanto a nivel profesional como personal?
Estoy disfrutando este momento y confiando en el siguiente. Estoy haciendo lo que amo con personas con las que disfruto trabajar. Algo que podría suceder este año es el lanzamiento de una app con Kaolo y una colaboración con Carel.
¿Hay algún sueño o meta que aún te gustaría cumplir?
Hay cosas que el tiempo divino alinea en perfecto orden. Tengo muchas cosas que me gustaría hacer, pero he aprendido a sentir que es lo correcto en este momento y a confiar en el tiempo.
¿Cuál es el mejor consejo que te dieron?
Mi maestro de actuación siempre decía: “No puedes tener lo que despreciás”. Así que es mejor no juzgar y centrarse en evolucionar.
¿Qué consejo le darías a alguien que recién comienza?
Que crean en sí mismos, sin importar lo que digan los demás. Escriban lo que desean, visualícenlo, hagan un tablero de visión. Y sean amables. El universo podría traerles algo incluso mejor de lo que imaginaron.
¿Cuál es tu conexión con las señales del universo?
Tiene que ver con la frecuencia o la energía que llevamos. Hay señales en todas partes, solo hay que estar en silencio y escuchar. Las distracciones son parte de la vida, pero esa es tu formación Jedi. Te han dicho que las etiquetas no importan. Lo único que importa es tu propia energía.
How would you define your personal style? Is it something you discovered over time, or have you always had a clear vision?
Yes, very classic. I simply trust myself and what I like, the things that make me feel at home within myself.
What projects, if any, can you share about your future, both professionally and personally?
I’m enjoying the present and trusting what’s next. I’m doing what I love with people I enjoy working with. Something that might happen this year is the launch of an app with Kaolo and a collaboration with Carel.
Is there a dream or goal you’d still like to achieve?
Some things align in perfect order with divine timing. There are many things I’d love to do, but I’ve learned to feel what is right at the moment and trust the timing.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
My acting teacher always said, “You can’t have what you despise.” So it’s better not to judge and instead focus on evolving.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out?
Believe in yourself, no matter what others say. Write down what you want, visualize it, make a vision board. And be kind. The universe might bring you something even better than you imagined.
What is your connection to the universe’s signs?
It’s about the frequency or energy we carry. Signs are everywhere; you just need to be still and listen. Distractions are part of life, but that is your Jedi training. You’ve been told labels don’t matter. The only thing that truly matters is your own energy.
