REGIA: Si tuvieras que definirte, ¿quién es Concepción?

Concepción Cochrane Blaquier: Un ave exótica de plumas raras. Una acuariana muy libre con mucho amor, humor y fantasía sensible, original, verdadera, creativa, sin pelos en la lengua, enamoradiza, romántica idealista y conectada con su espíritu.

R: Sos la primera influencer argentina proveniente de una dinastía de mujeres fuertes y rebeldes, ¿cómo se siente llevar este legado?

CCB: Palabras fuertes! Influenciar requiere responsabilidad. Hoy por hoy escuchamos ese titulo a diario y nos olvidamos de su peso. Influir, aconsejar, llevar a quienes te miren o sigan por donde los guíen es algo para hacer con cabeza. Hay que aprovechar la visibilidad para aportar siempre cosas positivas, ampliar cultura,información, consejos, descubrimientos de algo nuevo que al tener el ojo mas afilado vemos antes.

Ser parte de mi familia es un lujo que adoro poder tener! La mas bella y fuerte madre de 9 fue mi abuela Malena Nelson de Blaquier, quien entraba a los lugares y captaba la atención inmediata de hombres y mujeres, siempre elegante y a “step ahead” con los looks que todas después de verla querían tener. Impactante belleza y estilo único, elegante y transgresora fue y será siempre mi musa.

A ella seguimos mujeres muy fuertes, bellas por fuera y por dentro, llenas de garra y preparadas para todo 4x4 all road. Aunque a veces es agotador ser Wonder Woman porque se necesita un Superman que vaya a la par, lo difícil que es encontrarlo! Veremos si podremos ir rompiendo patrones. Al fin y al cabo venimos a mejorar.

REGIA: If you had to define yourself, who is Concepción?

Concepción Cochrane Blaquier: An exotic bird with rare feathers. A very free-spirited Aquarius with a lot of love, humor, and sensitive fantasy. Original, authentic, creative, outspoken, romantic idealist, and connected to her spirit.

R: You are the first Argentine influencer from a dynasty of strong and rebellious women. How does it feel to carry this legacy?

CCB: Strong words! Influencing comes with responsibility. Nowadays, we hear that title daily and forget its weight. To influence, advise, and lead those who look up to you is something to do with thoughtfulness. We should use visibility to always bring positive things, expand culture, knowledge, advice, and discoveries of something new that we can spot with a sharper eye.

Being part of my family is a luxury I adore having! The most beautiful and strong mother of 9 was my grandmother, Malena Nelson de Blaquier, who would enter places and immediately capture the attention of both men and women, always elegant and “a step ahead” with her looks that everyone wanted after seeing her. She was an astonishing beauty and a unique, elegant, and groundbreaking style icon, and she will always be my muse.

We, strong and beautiful women on both the inside and outside, full of determination and ready for anything, follow in her footsteps. Although sometimes being Wonder Woman can be exhausting because you need a Superman who can keep up, and finding one is quite a challenge! We’ll see if we can break some patterns. After all, we’re here to improve.

R: ¿Qué proyectos barajás para la temporada primavera-verano?

CCB: Vivir la vida siempre es lo primero. Nunca seremos tan jóvenes como hoy! Para esta primavera que ya arranca estoy trabajando en una colección con Perú. Para exportar. Veremos qué sale y les cuento!También, más viajes por delante.

R: En el plano de la seducción, ¿qué tiene que tener un hombre para conquistarte?

CCB: Uff. Es entre la lista de Mary Poppins y el arroz con leche… que sepa abrir la puerta para ir a jugar. Lo principal es amar y ser amado. Que me impresione y obnubile, que sea mejor que yo para admirarlo. Y los usuales claro: buen mozo para captar mi atención esteta, joven, siempre preferí el colágeno, bueno generoso atento amable divertido pícaro aventurero, que pueda unirse a la ruta conmigo, mente abierta para que se banque todo esto! Buena gente, cariñoso, canchero…

R: What projects do you have in mind for the spring-summer season?

CCB: Living life always comes first. We will never be as young as we are today! For this upcoming spring, I’m working on a collection with Peru for export. We’ll see how it turns out, and I’ll share the details! Also, more trips ahead.

R: In the realm of seduction, what does a man need to conquer you?

CCB: Oh, it’s somewhere between Mary Poppins’ list and rice pudding… He should know how to open the door to play. The key is to love and be loved. He should impress and dazzle me, be better than me so I can admire him. And the usual traits, of course: handsome to catch my aesthetic attention, young (I’ve always preferred collagen), kind, generous, attentive, fun, mischievous, adventurous, someone who can join me on this journey, open-minded to handle all of this! A good person, affectionate, and stylish.

R: ¿Cuáles son tus destinos predilectos del mundo?

CCB: Ibiza y París son mis dos lugares en el mundo sin duda.

R: Sos una mujer habitué de eventos, banquetes y fiestas. ¿Cómo te sentís en el rol de host y qué tienen que tener tus invitados?

CCB: Quienes me conocen sabes que soy gran host, que me encanta recibir y hacer fiestas. La clave son los amigos, la música y un buen bar. Hasta que las velas ardan! Mis fiestas son siempre muy eclécticas en invitados pues así son mis amistades, hay de todas las edades tipos y colores pero todos siempre los mas divertidos del condado. Mamá siempre dice que no hay buena fiesta sin algún colado que son los que mas ganas tienen de ir.

R: What are your favorite destinations in the world?

CCB: Ibiza and Paris are undoubtedly my two favorite places in the world.

R: You are a regular at events, banquets, and parties. How do you feel in the role of a host, and what should your guests have?

CCB: Those who know me know that I’m a great host, and I love to host parties. The key is friends, music, and a good bar. We party until the candles burn out! My parties always have eclectic guests because that’s how my friendships are — people of all ages, types, and colors, but always the most fun in the county. My mom always says that there’s no good party without a gatecrasher because they’re the ones who really want to be there.

R: Si escribieras un libro autobiográfico, ¿cómo lo titularías?

CCB: "Trip to Connieland. Cuentos y recuentos. Un viaje a la fantástica dimensión de Concepción". No quiero dejar de citar a otra alma libre, la duquesa de Alba que en su lápida pidió que tenga escrito algo que me identifica: "Aquí yase Cayetana...alguien que vivió como sintió".

R: If you were to write an autobiography, what would you title it?

CCB: “Trip to Connieland. Tales and Chronicles. A Journey to Concepción’s Fantastic Dimension.” I don’t want to forget to mention another free spirit, the Duchess of Alba, who requested on her tombstone something that resonates with me: “Here lies Cayetana…someone who lived as she felt.”
